To live within (beyond) what you are;
It's a perpetual feeling— nameless undying healing.
The link between universe and you,
Intangible.

Cheyenne Slack
Cheyenne Slack is a Senior at SIUE majoring in media production and minoring in creative writing. She is best known at SIUE for her contribution as “the voice of the MUC'' and other commercial work for the marketing and communications department. Global Village offered her a place to enjoy both writing and acting, serving as a host and a writer for the student-led sketch show. She loves supporting the arts and continues doing so as an on-air host for SIUE’s heritage radio station,88.7 The Sound where we serve you jazz, smooth jazz, blues, and R&B. She hopes to combine her love for writing, media production, and performing in future endeavors and is so grateful to have her poetry recognized and enjoyed.
