Gale Schlegl-Sandoz is a multimedia artist based in St. Louis, Missouri. Through a combination of two- and three-dimensional work, they manipulate surfaces and alter found objects to create art that discusses relationships between the body and mind. Schlegl-Sandoz’s work is often autobiographical and seeks to promote body neutrality.

 

Schlegl graduated from Saint Louis University with a double major in Fine art and English and is currently a sculpture MFA candidate at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
